A reproduction of the masterpiece by Alexandre Cabanel, “Fallen Angel”, 1868. This artist won the Prix de Rome in 1845 and won several commissions from the emperor Napoleon III. This magnificent work is a depiction of the fierce resentment of one of the fallen angels. The artist died in 1889 at the age of sixty-six years.
